OUR STORIES

On the road again

3/13/2017

Hey guys It’s your girl MJ here back at it again with another blog. Today was our last day and I had so much fun. From Melak falling, my puppet shows, and Mrs. McAuliffe’s adventurous stories. Today we woke up in Tobacco Caye and ended our last night in the Belize education center. One thing I really enjoyed about this Trip was how I got to see a different prospective of the world outside of the U.S. I think I learned a lot from this trip. For sure, I’ll never forget the first time I actually went somewhere without my mother. Well that’s it for this blog.

PEACE – Myra I.B Johnson

Hey guys it’s your girl Lexi because I’m copying Myra, cause I can do that now.   Getting to the more serious stuff, so our last day in Belize has been so much fun.  This morning we woke up in Tobacco Cay to see the puppies and cat one last time before heading off.  We rode a speedboat back to the mainland where we met up with Juan(our driver basically) who took us where we are staying right now and I’m writing from here now.  We got to have lunch when we got here and then took showers.  Once we finished up and had dinner we headed to the Zoo.  I think something about the Zoo made us all a little too excited.  When we got there we saw an animal called a Gibnut(which by the way Ms. McAuliffe is obsessed with).  As well a Jaguar that kept doing tricks for more food, which was so adorable.   As well as a small owl and other cats.  Also probably one of my favorites was the Tapir because of its nose which extended and retracted and I kept laughing because whenever it walked it picked its legs up to its body and took a step which looked so funny.  (look up a Tapir walking).  Anyway, I don’t have much more else to say and I’m pretty tired now so, Goodnight!  ~ Alexis
